The unisex pants pattern that will become a closet staple. Designed to have a perfect balance of comfort and polish, with a substantial dart below the knee to create shape and structure and a midrise, ankle-length fit. Half an elastic waist creates a comfortable fit that can be styled up or down. Two front and two back pockets have plenty of room for patchworking and all your knicknacks combined.

These are pants you can be creative with: add an extra patch pocket in a different fabric (or two, or three!),  sew on an embroidered patch, use a colored zig zag stitch along the pocket edges; make them uniquely yours!

Pattern Difficulty: Confident Beginner

  • This pattern is made for woven fabrics. Choose a bottom-weight fabric that can support the structure of the pants. Good options include canvas, denim, twill, or a heavier linen.

    For softer drape: medium-weight linen, chambray, or cotton blends will create a more relaxed look with less defined shaping.

    For statement texture: corduroy or jacquard can be used, but consider interfacing in stress areas.

    Pockets: Try using a different fabric or different orientation for the pockets to make them stand out!
