How do I place an order?

Ordering is simple and customizable:

1. Choose your size: Select your size (XXXS–6XL) from our website. Check our size chart to make sure you’re choosing the right fit for you. The size chart is your best friend! If in-between sizes, choose the size up.

2. Choose your fabric: Pick your preferred garment fabric. Most are sourced from Japan, Europe, and LA and are available in limited quantities. 

3. We handle the details: We'll select coordinating pocket fabrics or any special design details that complement your chosen fabric.

4. Fill out the order form: Once you pick a size and fabric, a short form will pop up where you'll enter your height and any design preferences, fit notes, or special requests. This helps us tailor the fit and style to you.

5. Place your order! Your garment will be ready in 4–6 weeks, handmade by Chen or Alexa.

How does sizing work?

We use US sizing (XXXS–6X) as the starting point, but make sure to check our size chart for the garment. If you are on the upper end of a size, we recommend choosing the size up.

When you place your order, you'll also share your height, which helps us adjust proportions so your clothes are made to flatter your body - not just your size on a tag.

You're also welcome to leave any additional fit notes in the order form. Are pants usually too tight on your hips and big in the waist? Let us know! Are tops usually way too long? Let us know! 

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Because each item is made to order just for you, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges. This is why we recommend double checking our size chart!

That said, we want you to love how your items fit. If you have concerns, please reach out at hi.wrongside.studios@gmail.com and we'll do our best to help.

What is your lead time?

All items are made to order with a current lead time of 4–6 weeks from the date your order is placed. You may receive them sooner, but please plan for the full timeframe. We believe in slow, thoughtful making - and that takes a little time.

Do you offer shipping or local drop-off?

Yes!

• Shipping — We ship directly to you once your items are complete. Costs are calculated at checkout. We ship within the US only at this time.

• Local drop-off — In the Portland, Oregon area? Choose this option at checkout for a discounted delivery fee.
